When done she placed them on the porch to cool. But when she came back to check on them later all of them were gone. She called on the hound dog to help find them. He looked and sniffed them out everywhere. Finally he confessed that he smelled them on the porch and ate them all up. Raggedy Ann was mad but she was proud that he told them the truth about the missing cookies. As a surprise she just went back to the kitchen and cooked up a new batch as well as a cake for Peterkins for telling the truth. Now everyone was happy.
